Description

Accelo is a SaaS platform that streamlines and automates service operations in small to medium-sized businesses, often doubling profitability and reducing the chaos and confusion experienced by people working in professional service businesses. Forecast PSA, an Accelo owned company, unifies project management, resource planning, and financials in one platform, powered by AI — so you get real-time visibility, control over margins, and scalable operations without the chaos.

We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join and support our growing Sales team focusing on the PSA (Professional Service Automation) industry.  This role will connect deep product knowledge to problems customers are trying to solve with solutions that bring value and impact to their business.

The ideal candidate is passionate about educating customers on how to leverage technology to improve business processes. You seek to understand how their business works, what obstacles stand in their way, and position yourself as a trusted partner. You are well versed in cloud-based solutions with a bias toward automation over manual processes. While this role is part of the Sales team, you will be involved in Marketing, Implementation, and Product: you are the glue that brings a rich understanding of Accelo’s value to the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize the Accelo product to new customers/users through sales demonstrations, presentations, and technical calls.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to understand prospect business challenges and demonstrate how Accelo can resolve their issues.

  • Educate prospects on the cost of inaction and the value that Accelo brings to their business.

  • Identify functionality gaps for prospects, design solutions, and ensure they understand how Accelo will support growing their business.

  • Configure POCs using prospects' data and other relevant information gathered during the sales process, as needed.

  • Help drive deals to a close through pre-sales support and product ownership through a partnership with an Account Executive.

  • Share Best Practices with potential clients to demonstrate what their peers are doing in Accelo to better run their businesses, while showing adaptability with different business processes.

  • Synthesize learnings from customer interactions, observe patterns, and relay feedback regularly to the rest of the organization - especially Product.

  • Enhance team product expertise through activities such as running product knowledge sessions, training and enablement.

  • Lead RFI/RFP responses from the product, solution, and technical perspectives.

  • Identify and communicate training opportunities for Account Executives to management; conduct specific training sessions for the sales team as requested by management.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years in the pre sales/full cycle sales process.

  • Knowledge of project management and/or CRM concepts, tools and best practices.

  • Can articulate complex concepts and challenges through simplified story-telling, visuals, and software demonstrations.

  • Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills that ensure the customer feels comfortable about taking a leap of faith to a new way of doing business.

  • Active listening skills to understand client needs; you can read between the lines of their challenges and dig into motivations. You are excited about uncovering what clients are looking for because you believe that knowledge is power.

  • Ability to think on your feet and solve problems in real time. Preparing for the unexpected is crucial.

  • Collaborative and team-oriented across all departments.

  • SaaS knowledge is a must! You know how a tech stack works and are quick to pick up new tools. You can use business logic and workflow diagrams to chart client needs.

  • You believe cloud-based solutions can solve problems for businesses of all sizes.

  • Constant passion for learning with a ‘can do’ attitude for fast-paced, complex, and dynamic situations.

Practicalities & Role Requirements

  • UK-based (remote).

  • You must have current and valid permission to work in the UK. Please note: we are not able to provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Employee Benefits

  • Competitive salary range

  • Commission structure
