Accelo is looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Operations & Insights Manager responsible for the go-to-market lead-to-revenue model as well as ensuring the optimal implementation and operation of a best-in-class "go-to-market tech stack" that aligns with and supports the company's near-term and long-term goals.

The successful candidate possesses a balanced blend of strategic and analytical thinking, marketing acumen, operations expertise, and leadership. This individual has a passion for data, metrics and systems, and excels in driving predictability, scalability, and efficiency in operations. This is a hands-on role, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to partner, operate and excel at the strategic, as well as tactical levels.

You might be a good fit if you share our desire to solve problems and the drive to create solutions and processes that enable revenue growth. You also want to be a part of a cross-functional team with a strategic mindset to support marketing, sales, business development, and customer success as we work together to achieve our aggressive revenue and growth targets. You obsess over finding new ways to shorten time to value for our customers and time to revenue for the organization. Solving problems and building solutions with limited structure and oversight comes naturally to you, and you consistently receive praise on your analytical abilities, communication skills, and approach to collaboration. You're data-driven, comfortable with analytics, pivot tables and creating reports and dashboards in partnership with other members of the go-to-market team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish & optimize a Lead-to-Revenue model, articulating lead and opportunity targets for marketing and sales, and providing analytical insights into driving success to goals
  • Manage the Go-to-Market stack and all technical aspects of key systems (marketing automation, CRM, predictive lead scoring, web analytics, performance tracking, etc.) used to execute and report on sales and marketing programs. Evaluate/implement new marketing and/or sales technologies, tools and add-on applications to improve and optimize performance.
  • Own the data pipeline and be the authority around stages, definitions, tracking and reporting throughout the Lead-to-Revenue lifecycle, providing self-serve and proactive insights for the business.
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of marketing activities & initiatives against business objectives. Create and maintain close-loop reporting and provide insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing's impact on revenue.
  • Create scalable processes that ensure best practices in go-to-market technologies, analytics and campaign, and marketable database management.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • 8+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales and/or Marketing Operations; Analytics or similar role with 3+ years of Sales & Marketing Operations experience in a SaaS company.
  • Strong analytical skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other reporting and data analysis tools). Proven ability to look across multiple systems and multiple data sources to define and optimize success metrics.
  • Passionate about sales and marketing operations and interested in leveraging your extensive experience to help create a best in class technology stack.
  • Advanced proficiency and hands-on experience with go-to-market tech stack and the ability to connect tools like Hubspot, Pendo, Google Analytics, and business intelligence/reporting experience to optimize the impact on revenue.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes. Must be able to explain complex items to various stakeholders and understand projects that have varying analytical goals and needs.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in digital (web and mobile) analytics and best practices.

Personal Characteristics: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality deliverables. A natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance and craves high quality feedback from colleagues. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. At home in a high-paced, intense but informal start-up environment.

Business Skills: You truly love sales and marketing; seeing the impact programs can have. You're comfortable diving deep into the numbers to understand how to best influence people and outcomes. You, simply put, get things done and produce results. You excel in communications, whether face-to-face, email, phone or otherwise, and can successfully navigate interpersonal dynamics with a variety of business owners, managers, and stakeholders.
