Accelo is looking for a dynamic Sales Leader to join our team as a Senior Sales Development Manager. You’ll enjoy growing with our organization and thrive in leading a team of SDRs and BDRs to success by offering an amazing product to our customers. You’ll bring SMB SaaS sales experience in an SDR environment, and you’re ready to advance and grow your career in sales as a leader and manager.

 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Hire, train, and coach a team of SDRs and BDRs who focus on generating high-quality inbound and outbound sales-ready opportunities for the Account Executive team
  • Define the strategic approach and tactical behaviors of a modern outbound and account-based sales development organization
  • Managing the daily activities and quota performance management of individual SDRs
  • Optimize and maximize the current SDR workflow, including partnering with marketing and operations to implement new processes and tools 
  • Work closely with Marketing and Account Executive teams to ensure targets are being met, including providing feedback and calibration on messaging, readiness by lead source, and feedback on Account Executive engagement and responsiveness
  • Proactively manage the teams funnel to ensure the quantity and quality of leads are being met, including adjusting the blend between inbound and outbound focus by your SDR and BDR team members
  • Maximizing the impact and effectiveness of sales development, focusing on opportunity handoff
  • Building and strengthening your team through coaching, development strategies, and development programs that build a team driving impact and ready for promotion
  • Encouraging and motivating employees daily, and bringing innovation to the sales process to accelerate our market growth trajectory
  • Ensure the team has the resources and training needed to achieve targets
  • Communicate the vision of the SDR and BDR functions in a compelling way to the team and cross-company stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of sales management or team lead experience in a SaaS, high-velocity startup environment
  • 2+ years of quota carrying SDR and BDR experience in SMB SaaS sales
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and outlined metrics
  • An up-and-coming leader who is data-driven and knows that many small improvements lead to great results
  • An enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working with all department leaders
  • Experience coaching sales excellence and effectiveness to team members, many of whom are in their first sales role
  • Experience working with Gong, Apollo, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools
  • Excited about attracting, recruiting, and developing talent that is passionate about sales
  • In-depth understanding of predictable revenue models, mastery of sales development, and value selling
  • Experience in SaaS and/or subscription-based business sales models

Compensation: $140k-175k OTE, depending on experience
