Senior Account Executive SaaS

Denver, Colorado, United States | Sales | Full-time

Are you looking for the opportunity to use your proven sales experience in the service of helping businesses make a transformational change, not just buy a SaaS solution? If you're sick of the "hunter" mindset, but have too much drive to become a "farmer", then our Senior Account Executive role could be just what you're looking for.

Accelo is a unique and powerful platform that manages all of the client work - from quote to cash - in one, integrated cloud system. Built specifically for small and medium professional service businesses, Accelo doubles their profitability by streamlining operations, improving efficiency and giving executives real-time visibility into business performance.

As a Senior Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing our highest potential value accounts, engaging and educating dozens of qualified leads a month, validating how our solution will solve their problems and then negotiating, closing, and handing off new clients to our success team.

If you want to really help people, excel at identifying challenges and solutions, and are amazing at closing deals with an incredible product - we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver unparalleled customer service to prospects.
  • Rapidly engage warm leads with the goal to determine fit.
  • Engage with executive-level and team-level buyers to uncover their challenges, goals, and business needs.
  • Demonstrate and explain robust technology to non-technical buyers.
  • Illuminate requirements, uncover prospects' business challenges, and paint a vision for success through education and demonstration.
  • Uncover the pain and cost of the status quo through focused discussion around how they currently work, with the ability to articulate the costs of their pain back to the prospect.
  • Build value through the articulation of features and benefits that match customer pain and use that value to confidently propose Accelo as a solution.
  • Operate a disciplined and high-quality sales process aligned with the client's buying process.
  • Meticulously maintain records including notes, status, stage, pipeline, and forecast.

Who you are:

  • Have 4-5+ years of selling experience, ideally SaaS software.
  • Naturally inquisitive, curious, and hungry with a tenacious work ethic and a “never-quit” attitude.
  • You thrive in a high-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.
  • Confident in welcoming early opportunities, guiding them through the sales process, and offering our services.
  • Professionally empathic with the ability to "put yourself in the shoes" of people in various roles across different industries.
  • Experienced in consultative solution selling, particularly in a B2B context, where you can help educate your opportunities and close in a timely manner.
  • Able to follow a proven sales process to create a consistent and successful client experience.
  • Competent and confident with technology so you can run awesome demos that wow your prospects and have you on the front foot when they ask questions.
  • Capable and comfortable working all phases of the funnel with balance and autonomy to produce consistent results from qualification to close.

It's a plus if you have:

  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Prior CRM / Project Management / PSA tool experience.
  • Experience working in a professional services context - our clients are all professional service business owners/managers.
  • Outbound sales experience; the ability to self-generate leads through various strategies to supplement the sales pipeline.

Where you’ll be

  • For this role, we ask that you live in the Denver region with an option to work from home 2 days a week.
  • We are a global team distributed across the US, Philippines, and Australia.

  • A growing company with a clear vision to scale in the Denver area and beyond.
  • 360-degree views of the Rockies, city, and skyline from the 12th floor of a centrally located downtown office (this is not a remote role)
  • Flexible time off so you never have to worry about burning out.
  • Fun Fridays & Office Parties on a regular basis.
  • Individual healthcare including medical, dental, vision, and disability.
  • Pet insurance for all your fur babies.
  • RTD EcoPass for convenient environment-conscious commutes.
  • Stocked kitchen with all of your favorite snacks and drinks.

Accelo was founded in 2011 when the founders noticed a gap in the market: the tech industry was ignoring small-to-medium-sized professional service businesses because their processes are entirely human. The Accelo founders wanted to transform the way professionals manage their client work with the use of technology, unlocking the potential of people and businesses to do the work they love, easily. Today, we support thousands of people and businesses across the globe with plans to be the client work platform that powers the world’s best professional service businesses.
